Kouts Porkfest
The Annual Kouts Porkfest is a great family event held each year on the last weekend of August. This year we will celebrate the 35th Porkfest on Saturday, August 27, 2011
Aikiki River Festival
Held in conjunction with Porkfest, the Aukiki River Festival pays tribute to the rich history of Kouts and the Kankakee River area with a historical reenactment festival at the Collier Lodge. This year's festival will be Saturday, August 27, 2011.
Kouts Christmas Open House
The Kouts Annual Christmas Open House is another longstanding and well-loved tradition in Kouts. Featuring a bounty of homemade crafts, foods, home decor and gifts,
this unique event is held on the first weekend of December and showcases the talents and seasonally decorated homes of area residents. Last year's Open House featured items for sale at nearly 40 homes in the area. Join us this year on December 1 and 2 and you'll agree that there's something for everyone on your list at the Kouts Christmas Open House.
